Have You Wondered . . .
How do gifts to the Dartmouth College Fund (DCF) contribute to the Campaign for the Dartmouth Experience?
The DCF is one of four imperatives in the Campaign for the Dartmouth Experience. A gift to the Fund is a gift to the Campaign.
Dartmouth depends on unrestricted annual giving from alumni, parents, and friends to meet the College's most immediate and pressing needs. Contributions to the DCF make up 10 percent of Dartmouth's operating budget each year. With these annual, unrestricted gifts, the College is able to sustain students in all facets of their education. DCF gifts directly affect the Dartmouth Experience, supporting academic programs and faculty, the arts, athletics, student programs and services, financial aid, technology and the digital library, the campus, and Dartmouth's highest priorities - essentials not fully funded by endowment revenues. Please give.
What's the difference between class dues and giving to the Dartmouth College Fund?
Your class dues keep the bonds of your class strong, supporting your class activities and your subscription to the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine. Class dues do not pay for any part of the student experience at Dartmouth.
Your annual gift to Dartmouth College Fund directly supports today's students, providing operational funds for the academic enterprise, residential life, athletics, financial aid, and much more.
