A.J. "Vino" Bascom is the only person at Dartmouth who actually comes from New Hampshire. At Dartmouth, he's about as busy as a one-eyed man at a burlesque show. He is a Senior Fellow and Psychology major and, in addition to directing the Aires, he is a singer-songwriter who performs regularly and has recorded three albums of original work. On our newest album, Impaired, the Aires have recorded one of Vino's songs, our first original track!

Vino's first album of original music earned international recognition, and he has been asked to perform alongside headliners including the J. Guiles Band and Phish. He has traveled far and wide on several tours and has also played with X-Guru, Pink Martini, G Love and Special Sauce, Afroman, Wham!, and White Zombie.
