Pete "Krbo" Simpson was genetically engineered to be an a cappella singer. His parents met after performing in Spring Sing '74, and soon after conspired to join forces and create a new generation of collegiate a cappella singers.

Super-powered a cappella singers.

In the past 30 years, they have managed to create...well, actually, just Krbo (um, and Pedo). Actually, Krbo is not really super-powered, and now he's sold out to the man in exchange for rent and food money. However, he and Fivo are now directing a high-school a cappella group. So...he's sort of still an a cappella singer. But really, he's just a small-town boat captain with a nasty disposition and nothing to lose.
