Welcome to the Arts & Humanities Resource Center
The mission of the The Arts & Humanities Resource Center (AHRC) is to provide our clients with the essential and innovative technology support necessary for them to "provide a transformative student experience within a world-class research environment."
Our goal is to provide the highest quality of service possible to faculty, staff and students within the programs, centers, offices, and organizations that comprise the Arts and Humanities at Dartmouth College. The AHRC thrives in an atmosphere of research, innovation, experimentation, development and implementations of technology and pedagogy, yet recognizes that our clients come to us with a range of needs, objectives and skill levels. Our success depends on our ability to serve our clients with respect, collaboration, enthusiasm and a good sense of humor to create a work and support environment that encourages them to maximize their use of our resources in support of the aims of the College.
The Arts & Humanities Resource Center occupies the second floor of historic Bartlett Hall, which was built in 1890 as a YMCA. This turreted brownstone boasts a 3-foot by 5-foot stained glass window of Eleazar Wheelock located in the washroom on the first floor.
During 2007 all of Bartlett Hall underwent extensive physical renovations, allowing us to combine what were separate support areas for faculty and students into the beautiful space we welcome you to visit. Our labs and our services are available to you. Please drop by any time, or contact us by e-mail or telephone.
