The Treasurer's Black Book |
|
|
The treasure will record minutes and attendance in the black entry book that belongs to AfriCaso. We intend that this book in later years will serve as a record of history, and a source of information about how to handle issues that previous executive bodies might already have dealt with. The Black Book also includes pictures of past events and members. It is the responsibility of the outgoing treasurer to return the book to the succeeding executive body. If the book is no longer in AfriCaso's posession, contact a previous executive to locate it. |

About obtaining funding (procedures and past contacts) Plan to obtain funding as early as possible. Begin making arrangements at the beginning of the term, for smaller events, and as early as during the previous term for larger ones. As much as possible try to avoid using AfriCaso's funds for ordinary programming. They are meant for emergencies. Obtain external funds from one of these sources. They have served AfriCaso
well in the past: Consider collaborating on events that are not considered AfriCaso's
trademark events (see next section). In the past, AfriCaso has successfully
collaborated with: AfriCaso also obtains a basic amount from COSO each time by attending the compulsory COSO meeting, and an annual recruitment grant from COSO.
