Nearly twenty-five percent of Dartmouth's students participate on one of the
thirty-four varsity intercollegiate teams. As members of the Ivy League,
Dartmouth student-athletes reap the benefits of both worlds - the chance to
receive a challenging academic experience combined with the opportunity to
compete against NCAA Division I teams. The following information is designed to
provide you with advice and resources as you balance your career as a Dartmouth
student-athlete.
Student-Athlete Assistance Fund
If you are a student-athlete and receive a Pell Grant as part of your
financial aid package, or if you are a foreign student who is Pell
Eligible, you qualify to take advantage of the NCAA Student Athlete
Assistance Fund. If you are eligible and have questions about what expenses
fall within categories covered for reimbursement, contact Meg Hancock, Academic
Advisor/CHAMPS Life Skills Coordinator, 646-2014.
