Web Access Group

WAG is a cross-institutional group with representatives from policy-making and publishing divisions on campus. The group's charge is to take steps to ensure that Dartmouth's Web is accessible to people with disabilities.

In the Fall of 2002 WAG produced "Working Toward an Accessible Dartmouth Web," a booklet about universal design for Web sites. WAG produced the booklet in order to raise awareness on campus about Web access for people with disabilities. President James Wright endorsed the effort by providing an opening statement that defines the College's position regarding Web access. The booklet was distributed by campus mail to all faculty and staff.

You are welcome to view the information in HTML or PDF format, or to download and print the booklet.
