Betsie
Betsie is a program developed by the BBC to create text-only versions of Web pages on the fly. This means that Web developers who wish to provide users with a text alternative do not have to create and maintain separate versions of their pages. Dartmouth has installed Betsie on the main Web server (www.dartmouth.edu). Anyone developing pages on the Dartmouth server can use Betsie on their pages.
