Participate in a DHMC Research Study!
DHMC is conducting an 11-week study that investigates a combined Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Health At Every Size (HAES/ACT) Treatment for depression and obesity in women. Research is conducted at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center by researchers from the Department of Psychiatry. The group therapy sessions are led by a DHMC psychologist, with a small group of other women with similar concerns. Sessions last two hours, and meet at DHMC, at a time convenient for you. For more information, call or email Margit Berman (603-650-4724) or click here.

Whether it is guidance on medical treatment, or assistance with a health question, you can always call the health information line and get live support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can speak directly to a specialist trained as a nurse or listen to podcasts about specific health topics—any day, every day—any time of the day or night! Just call the toll-free number 1-800-Cigna-24.
Of course, 24/7 NurseLine is not an emergency response system. Call 911 or your local emergency service number in any medical emergency. Get the health care information and advice you need instantly—without leaving home. Cigna's 24/7 NurseLine is your way to access reliable medical resources immediately and confidentially, and at no cost.
The program's objectives are:
To provide level of care recommendations to members who call with symptom-based questions or concerns. To provide up-to-date, evidence-based medical information in response to members' questions or concerns, with the intention of increasing members' understanding of their individual physical condition and improving their health. To facilitate member access to physicians and facilities in the CIGNA HealthCare network.
To listen to one of the hundreds of podcasts in English and Spanish:
• Select a topic and download podcasts to your mobile device or listen via live-stream on your computer; or
• Choose to listen over the phone. Call the health information line, follow the voice prompts, enter a code for the audio library catalog, and you'll be listening in seconds.
