Whatever your health goals, a Health Coach can give you tips on how to set a goal, help you work towards meeting your goal, cheer you on, and measure your progress. Whether you are training for a triathalon, trying to lower your blood pressure, searching for the best form of exercise for your body and personality, trying to lose weight, or simply trying to live a healthy lifestyle, the Health Coaches can help. 

Work with a Health Coach to set your own health and wellness goals.

Throughout 2014, workshops will be offered in three-part series around specific themes.  Come to all three for a more in-depth understanding or choose only those that best suit your needs and goals. Workshops are available to benefits eligible employees and their adult family members.

Dartmouth College has engaged with Iora Health to provide its employees with an option for coordinated, personalized care through a dedicated care team. Weight Watchers at Work:Get Fit

  • Get support, encouragement, and practical tools from Dartmouth's own Weight Watchers at Work group. Join the on-going group whenever you are ready. It typically meets in Haldeman 031 every Tuesday from noon until 1 pm. Call or email Lauren Clark at 6-0109 or Annette Rine (603) 653-0726 to learn more and to confirm meeting location.

CBT for Weight Loss Group:

  • Group therapy for weight loss will teach you how to apply the proven benefits of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to your diet and weight loss efforts by training you to think differently, improve your eating behavior, and to keep weight off permanently! Very affordable and very effective, these small groups are offered at Hanover Psychiatry, through the Psychiatry department of the Geisel School of Medicine. Learn to choose wisely, eat consciously, think differently, act rationally, and manage your weight for the long-term. Call 603-277-9110.

  • Tracking your calorie intake and your activity level can DOUBLE weight loss.
