Rates and Applications

Commencement and Reunion guests are invited to stay in College residence halls. As undergraduate residences, these spaces do not offer the amenities found in a hotel, but their convenience to on-campus events makes them popular housing options. Commencement and Reunion Online Housing application is available by selecting this link.

The nightly rate for Commencement and Reunion guests is $50.00 per person. The deadline for submitting applications is April 10. Guests whose applications are submitted after the application deadline will be housed only if space is available. A $25 fee will apply for all cancelled reservations. No refunds for cancellations will be made after May 8.

Accommodations

Most residence halls have no more than four floors and are equipped with television rooms and meeting lounges. A very limited number of buildings have elevators. Although our residence halls are convenient, please remember they do not offer the amenities of a fully-staffed hotel. For example, we do not provide daily maid services, all of our rooms contain single (twin) beds, and the majority of our rooms do not have private bathrooms.

Pets, other than service animals, are not allowed and all of our halls are smoke-free. We provide guests with linens, blankets, pillows, towels, cup, and soap. Rooms are not equipped with phones; however there is a public phone on the first floor of each building. Facilities for guests with disabilities are limited, but we do have accessible rooms if reserved in a timely manner.

Services

The Commencement and Reunions Housing Office hires more than 60 undergraduate students to help clean rooms, make beds for our guests, and generally help run the Commencement and Reunions Housing program. Our staff is here to make sure your stay is as enjoyable a possible and is available to assist you with check in and questions that may arise during your stay.

The Commencement and Reunion Housing Office is located on the first floor of Middle Massachusetts Hall. Office hours are 8:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, from early March through June. From June 9 through June 17 the office is staffed 24 hours a day.
