Through three local banks and a mortgage broker, Dartmouth College offers Dartmouth Plus mortgages to assist eligible employees with refinancing a primary home in the Hanover area. Dartmouth Plus mortgages allow employees seeking to refinance a home to improve upon the terms of the mortgage loans each of these banks makes available to the general public. Generally, the Dartmouth Plus program will provide the following benefits:
All full-time employees holding regular, benefits-eligible positions are eligible to apply for the Dartmouth Plus program, although certain program features may have additional eligibility restrictions. Dartmouth Plus mortgages can only be used for the purchase or refinancing of a primary residence in the Hanover/Upper Valley area. Note that program terms are subject to adjustment without notice.

Applying for a Dartmouth Plus Refinancing Loan
Application for a Dartmouth Plus mortgage is made directly to the participating bank. When an application is submitted the employee will need to specifically reference the Dartmouth Plus program and provide proof of regular full-time employment.
