Subscription List

The Real Estate Office manages a list for people interested in being notified about College-owned commercial space for lease through a service called LISTSERV. LISTSERV is a system that makes it possible to create, manage, and control electronic mailing lists. Our list is maintained on a dedicated host computer at Dartmouth College.

The name of our specific list is "DCCOMMERCIAL -SPACE FOR RENT". Joining the list simply involves submitting your e-mail address and name on our LISTSERV web page. If you choose to join this list, the instructions are as follows:

1. Click on the link at the bottom of the page called Join or Leave the DCCOMMERCIAL List - SPACE FOR RENT mailing list."
2. You will be sent to a LISTSERV web page. The header at the top of the page will say "Join or Leave the DCCOMMERCIAL List".
3. Simply submit your e-mail address and your name in the spaces provided at the top section of the page, then click "Join DCCommercial".
4. Once you click on "Join DCCommercial", the header at the top of the page will say "A confirmation request is being sent under separate cover".
5. Momentarily, an e-mail message with a confirmation code will be sent to your e-mail address and provide instructions on how to confirm your identity.
6. In order to confirm your identity and prevent third parties from subscribing you to a list against your will, you will be asked to either respond to the confirmation e-mail, or point your browser to a LISTSERV web address specified in the confirmation email.
7. Once complete, you will automatically be added to the DCCOMMERCIAL - SPACE FOR RENT list and be notified by e-mail of any College-owned commercial space being advertised for lease. That is all you have to do.
8. If for any reason you are unable to access to the DCCOMMERCIAL - SPACE FOR RENT list, please send an e-mail with your contact information to Real.Estate.Office@dartmouth.edu or call our office at (603) 646-2446.
