Al Mulley ’70, chair of Dartmouth’s Presidential Search Committee, discusses the Leadership Statement, approved by the Dartmouth Board of Trustees in September 2008. The Statement is an articulation of how Dartmouth’s distinctiveness provides an opportunity for the College’s next president to lead by defining excellence for higher education in the 21st century.

Search Chair Al Mulley '70 describes the committee's tasks and how the community can continue to give input. "We’ve received hundreds of messages, lots of advice, even some nominations through the website related to the presidential search, and we hope to continue to receive that input," says Mulley.
