Hi, I’m Nick! I am an 18′ from Newton, MA double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. Outside the classroom, I work in a Drosophila lab researching the role of a class of anti-aging proteins called sirtuins in ovarian aging and the prevalence of Down Syndrome. In part for my research, I was named Dartmouth’s Goldwater Scholar in 2016. I also love athletics, traveling, and food. I was the youngest qualifier for the 2014 Boston Marathon. I have been to every continent except Antarctica. I have eaten frog ovary soup, duck’s tongue, chocolate covered crickets, and pretty much any organ meat you can eat. I love to bake in my spare time. Finally, I love to teach and help people. I am a peer mentor, tutor, study group leader, and pre-health mentor so if you have any questions or just want someone to get a meal with please reach out!
