Hi! I’m Abigail, an ’18 from Poulsbo, WA – a small town across the water from Seattle. I’m majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and I’m preparing to apply to dental schools this year. I’ve always been interested in the healthcare field, and I find that dentistry is the perfect combination of serving people’s health needs in addition to the hands-on work and materials science that I love about engineering. Aside from being a member of the NSS execs, I am apart of Dartmouth’s Club Triathlon Team and am involved with Christian groups on campus. I have also worked in a biomedical engineering research lab since my freshman year, and I’m now working on my thesis in the same lab. I’m happy to answer any questions about balancing pre-health and engineering courses, pursuing dentistry, triathlons, or even good places to ski in the area!
