Name: Pooja P. Sikka
Class: 2018

Hi! My name is Pooja and I’m from Acton, Massachusetts. I’m majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in French with a pre-health focus. I’ve studied abroad in Paris, France, and it has been one of my favorite terms at Dartmouth! I also enjoy volunteering for Patient Support Corps at DHMC, where I assist patients with shared decision-making and appointment scribing. I’m actively involved in ASPIRE, MedLife, and Random Acts of Kindness as well. My freshman year, I was a WISP intern under Professor Griffin and studied the genetic basis of embryogenesis using C. elegans. Currently, I’m continuing my Presidential Scholar research at the Hill Lab at the Thayer School of Engineering and am studying maternal-infant signaling. In my free time, I love going on walks with friends, playing ultimate frisbee, watching Game of Thrones, and eating food. If you have any questions about NSS or being pre-med, please feel free to contact me anytime!
