The Geisel School of Medicine and the Nathan Smith Society hosted the 2016 National Physician for Human Rights Symposium at Dartmouth College from November 4-5, 2016. Over 200 attendees came to listen and learn from a variety of speakers about this year’s theme, “Violence Against Difference.” Other events at the conference included a poster session by student researchers, discussion groups facilitated by academics, and lectures by physicians. The event was a great success thanks to a number of student and faculty organizers led by Thomas Kuczmarski, Emily Georges, Dr. Sarah Johansen, and Dr. Lee Witters. Thank you to all those who contributed funding and support.
