The Dartmouth College Library offers a Document Delivery service for Dartmouth
and DHMC/Lebanon-based faculty and staff. This service allows faculty and
staff to request items identified in the Dartmouth Library Catalog.
Requests will be sent to a centralized electronic mail box. Books and journals
will be pulled from the shelves and held for the user at the campus library
location of their choice. In some cases, journal articles will be photocopied
and mailed to the requester's Hinman mailbox. Expected average turn-around
time on requests will be from three to five days, excluding weekends.
A notice will be sent to the requester when books and journal volumes are ready
for pick-up. They will be held at the designated library's circulation desk
for six days. A copy of the request will be sent to the requester's electronic
mail address.
