Endowment Impact

The annual endowment distribution provides support to virtually all aspects of Dartmouth’s mission. Core areas of support include:

Financial Aid: Dartmouth’s robust financial aid program offers access and affordability for Dartmouth students

• Families with total annual income below $125,000 have no expected parent contribution for attendance

Academic Programs and Research: Support for faculty and academic research, enhancing the educational experience at Dartmouth and funding innovative discoveries

• Over 200 faculty positions are directly supported by the endowment through endowed department chairs and other appointments

Infrastructure and Strategic Initiatives: Critical infrastructure including student housing improvements, campus energy and academic classrooms and research labs

Student Life: Funds for student support, enhanced experiences, and access to athletics programs
