Studying the similarites between active and passive learning
Dartmouth researchers have determined that people can acquire motor skills through the "seeing" as well as the "doing" form of learning. In their study, the scientists used a video game, similar to the popular Dance Dance Revolution game, and measured the skill level of participants over time and also captured brain activity using fMRI, functional magnetic resonance imaging.
