Student Government
Dartmouth student government includes three main groups: the student assembly, class councils, and campus-wide committees and groups. Both the assembly and class councils are composed of elected students, although the assembly has representatives from across the College and broadly addresses student concerns while class councils are focused more on student issues in their respective years. Students may also join or be appointed to various committees throughout the College that focus on such topics as student life, the budget, and academic and other concerns.
- Student Assembly: The official undergraduate student government of the College
- First Year Class Council: Promotes the interests of the first-year class
- Graduate Student Council: A student-run governing body dedicated to improving the quality of life for a diverse population of graduate students
