Several departments and programs offer academic support (for students, faculty, and others) at the College, ranging from broad support at centers like the Dartmouth College Library and Peter Kiewit Computing Services to individualized support offered in the dean’s offices or the Academic Skills Center. Advising

  • Undergraduate Advising and Research: Helps students set up course schedules, work better with faculty, and learn about research opportunities
  • Pre-Major Advising: Fosters the advising relationship between faculty and first- and second-year students who have not yet declared a major
  • Scholarship Advising: Helps students learn about and take advantage of fellowship opportunities for research, study abroad and graduate school
