Tim Russert, NBC's Washington bureau chief and host of "Meet The Press," will moderate the debate. It will be broadcast Wednesday evening on MSNBC, Telemundo and New England Cable News and streamed live over the web on MSNBC.com and NBC News 2 Go. New Hampshire Public Radio will broadcast it live. Other debate sponsors include the New Hampshire Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee. This will be the third debate officially sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee, and all eight Democratic candidates are confirmed to attend.

Dartmouth is a frequent campaign stop for presidential hopefuls, and has previously hosted a number of presidential candidate debates. In 1999, the College hosted "First in the Nation: A New Hampshire Town Meeting," attended by then-leading Republican and Democratic candidates including eventual Democratic nominee Al Gore. Dartmouth is currently working to host a Republican Presidential debate later this year.
