If you are a student and you encounter problems with your computer, you should contact the Student IT Service Desk (Help Desk) at 646-2999 (Press 2) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Friday. The IT Service Desk is closed Saturday and Sunday. Hours vary by term.
The Student IT Service Desk is staffed by knowledgeable students and full-time professional staff who have experience in getting connected to the Dartmouth network, using the standard applications, using the public printers, and configuring computers. If you are having a hardware problem, they can direct you to where you can get help.
If you are a faculty or staff member in an academic or administrative departments and have questions, please contact the IT Service Desk (Help Desk) at 646-2999 and select from the options provided, send electronic mail to help@dartmouth.edu, or call your department's IT support office.
