If you are an editor with administrative privileges, you have the ability to edit or remove RSS items from the RSS feeds.
Any time you edit or delete an RSS item, you will need to rebuild the feed by clicking the Rebuild icon.
To Edit or Delete RSS Items
- Click the Setup tab, then RSS.
- Click on the RSS Items icon for the appropriate Feed Name.
- The RSS Feed Items screen will appear. You now have the ability to edit or delete an RSS item.
- To edit an RSS item, click the Edit icon. The Update RSS Item screen will appear. Make the necessary changes, then click Update. A Success window appears letting you know that the item was updated. Click Back to Feeds, then click the Rebuild icon for the feed to republish itself.
- To delete an RSS item, click the RSS Items icon for the appropriate Feed Name. Click the Delete icon for the RSS Item you want to delete. A Delete Item window will appear asking, Are you sure you wish to delete this RSS Item?. Click Delete, then Back to Feeds, then click the Rebuild icon for the feed to be removed.
