Students with data in a SAS format can e-mail Rick Barton to convert it into Stata format. This would be a file with a file extension of .sas7bdat, or a file with a .csv or .txt file extension that came with a separate SAS code file.

Under the terms of our agreement with SPSS, Dartmouth's copy of SPSS cannot be installed on student machines. It is available for use on any of the public computers around campus. Alternatively, students can purchase their own copy, OR rent a copy for a six or twelve month period through e-academy. E-mail the Student IT Service Desk for more information on purchasing or renting a copy of SPSS.
