How Do I View My Jobs in the Queue?

When you send a job to a printer, you can check its printing status.

Mac OS X 10.3.x and OS 10.4.x

  • Select Utilities from the Go menu.
  • Double-click the Printer Setup Utility file.
  • Select the printer that is processing the job in the printer list and double-click its name.
  • A new window will appear with the name of the printer. You can manage the queue from this window by deleting the job that is printing, stopping, or starting the queue, etc. You can also see completed print jobs from this window.

Mac OS X 10.5.x

  • Click the Apple icon in the upper-left corner and select System Preferences.
  • In the Hardware section, select Print & Fax.
  • On the left, select the printer you sent the job to and then click the Open Print Queue button.
  • A new window will appear with the name of the printer. You can manage the queue from this window by deleting the job that is printing, stopping, or starting the queue, etc.
