Signing On

< Previous | Next >

Dartmouth automatically sets up BlitzMail accounts for new students, paid faculty, and staff and assigns a default password. As described below, you should sign on to BlitzMail using the password you were initially assigned and then change it to something private.

  • When the BlitzMail sign-on box appears, enter your name.

  • In the Password field, enter the password provided to you via a letter sent to your Hinman box.
  • Make sure the Site field is set to Dartmouth College if you are logging into your Dartmouth.edu account.

Please contact the Computing Help Desk at 646-2999 and select from the options provided, send electronic mail to help@dartmouth.edu, or call your department's computing support office if you have questions about accessing your account. .

Graduate students and other students who cannot remember their password should go to the Student Computing Help Desk, located in 172 Carson Hall, with their Dartmouth or other picture ID (passport) between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Friday, to have their password reset.
