You can customize BlitzMail by using the Notify utility
mentioned previously or by using options under the BlitzMail
menu at the top of the screen.
The Dartmouth Name Directory (DND) contains personal information such as
nicknames, phone numbers, campus paper mail addresses, and preferred electronic
mail addresses. The Edit DND Entry option under the
BlitzMail menu allows you to change this information. The
DND also contains your full name and department or class as recorded in
Dartmouth's records. You cannot change this information from within
BlitzMail, but you can ask Human Resources (employees) or the
Registrar's Office (students) to change it if it is incorrect.
Additionally, you can configure a feature in BlitzMail to
scan and eliminate unsolicited e-mail (commonly known as SPAM) by enabling the
spam filtering option. For instructions on configuring the spam filter,
