How Can I Get My Entry in the Dartmouth Name Directory (DND) Changed? My Name Is Fred Flintstone, But the Edit DND Entry Dialog Box Shows It As Ferd Flintstone.

Send an e-mail to postmaster@dartmouth.edu requesting this change. Be sure you have contacted Human Resources (employees) or the Registrar's Office (students) first so the appropriate campus databases can be updated. This is required before the DND can be updated.

I Looked Up My Last Name (Jones) Using "Look up a Name." My Name Wasn't Listed. What Does the Message "Too many matches — only some are shown" Mean?

If an entry is too general, BlitzMail only shows the first 20 or so names that match. Had you typed Y Jones (or Yvonne Jones, if Yvonne is your name), you would have seen your name in the list. BlitzMail does this for two reasons: (a) to limit the amount of data you receive (so it doesn't take too long to fill the window); and (b) to prevent people from using this facility to create huge mailing lists, for example, a list of the Class of 2011.
