Problems/Bugs With SSH Secure Shell

Here are a few common problems or known bugs:

  1. Problems creating a bookmark with X tunneling (tunneling not working).

There is a bug in the GUI that sets up x11 tunneling. Make sure the checkbox for X tunneling is checked. For more details, see How Do I Enable X Tunneling Using SSH Secure Shell?.
  2. I made a bookmark and kept entering my password, but I continue to get the password prompt.

First, make sure the bookmark you saved has your username spelled correctly and saved. If it does, try logging in to another remote computer to make sure your password is correct.
