What Do I Do If My Wireless Connection Is Intermittent?

< Previous | Next >

Other devices that run at 2.4 GHz may interfere with the wireless network. This includes some microwaves and cordless phones. If your connection has previously been working properly, and you are suddenly disconnected from the network or experiencing intermittent service, it may be that someone is using one of these other devices within range of the wireless access point you are using.

If the wireless signal cuts in and out, make sure the WEP option is turned off or disabled in the Wireless network key section of the Wireless Network Connection properties. For information on where to find this setting, see How Do I Install and Configure the Software for My Dell TrueMobile Card?.
