Beginning June 29, Faripoint Communications is offering a special plan to college employees called the Dartmouth Affinity Plan. Both new customers and existing Fairpoint customers who are Dartmouth employees are eligible to apply for the discount to their current services. More details can be found at this pdf. Please note: Dartmouth Computing Services does not support this service or guarantee the connection quality.
To Enroll in the Affinity Program
From your @dartmouth.edu email address send an email request to: affinity_dartmouth@fairpoint.com and include:
- Program Code: Dartmouth
- Your Name (first and last)
- Home Address (including street, city and state)
- Daytime Phone Number and Home Phone Number
After receiving your email, Fairpoint will verify that service is available at your home address and then call you to set up your account. The Affinity discount is available on most of Fairpoint's high speed Internet service plans. FairPoint voice service and a one year agreement is required.
