Check with the manufacturer of your computer regarding the warranty
coverage. If you need to have repairs performed on your computer, take
your original bill of purchase or a photocopy. Some dealers abroad may be
reluctant to provide warranty repairs on US-purchased computers. If you find it
necessary to obtain service on your computer while you are out of the country
and you are forced to pay for those repairs, make sure you obtain all the
pertinent documentation so when you return to the United States, you can submit
a claim to the manufacturer of your computer for those repairs.
