Insurance

< Previous | Next >

The College's blanket all-risk insurance provides coverage for all College-owned computers with a replacement value in excess of $1,000. The coverage provides for loss or damage caused by any peril not otherwise insured, including intentional theft, but not general wear-and-tear and gradual deterioration.

If you own your computer, it is not insured through Dartmouth College. You can include it on a personal insurance policy. There are various ways to do this; your insurance representative can discuss them with you. They will need the original bill of purchase and the serial number.
