Faculty and staff from academic departments may obtain assistance with
computing tools and resources from their divisional computing office. Each of
these offices is a local "help desk" for its division of the Arts and Sciences,
offering help for desktop hardware, Macintosh and Windows operating systems,
standard productivity applications, and set up of new machines. Each office
also has developed specialized areas of support, unique to the needs of the
division it supports.
