To purchase equipment or software from Dartmouth College, you must be an enrolled, degree-seeking student, a faculty member*, or a permanent employee** of Dartmouth College, Hitchcock Hospital, or Hitchcock Clinic. (Hitchcock Hospital and Hitchcock Clinic employees are not eligible to purchase Apple or Microsoft products. This restriction does not apply to other products.) One desktop computer, one laptop computer, one laser printer, one inkjet or impact printer, and one PIE product (i.e., Newton) may be purchased every 12-month period. (The 12-month period begins on the date of purchase of each particular piece of equipment.) The equipment or software may not be purchased for resale or as a gift. A Dartmouth College, Hitchcock Hospital, or Hitchcock Clinic ID card is required when you pick up equipment or software. Individuals wishing to make a personal purchase must do so in person at The Computer Store. The purchaser's ID will be verified and the purchaser's signature and eligibility status shall be rendered personally on the invoice at the conclusion of each sales transaction.

Items not appearing above may be considered special-order products, and therefore, may require a non-refundable deposit for us to place the order.
Accepted forms of payment at the time of the sale include cash, a personal or cashier's check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or a valid FAS or DA$H account.
Each product carries its own manufacturer's warranty, so be sure to check the warranty as soon as you open the package.
Repairs to new personal computers are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. After the warranty expires, we will perform complete repair and maintenance services on either a time-and-materials or contractual basis.
Products cannot be returned once the product has been opened.***
