Citrix on Mac OS X

Installing Citrix on a Macintosh

Download the Citrix installer from

Double click CitrixOnlinePlug-in.dmg. In the window that appears, double click Install Citrix online plug-in.pkg and follow the prompts on the screen, making sure to check the Open Citrix Dazzle now field.

When the installation is complete, the Welcome to Dazzle window will open. Click Get Started.

A message should appear telling you that no stores have been configured. Click OK then select the Dazzle Stores tab. Click the plus sign to add a new store. In the Store Name field enter Citrix. In the Store URL field enter Click OK then close the Citrix online plug-in window.

When prompted, enter your <netid> for your user name and password. If you have not been converted to netid, enter your user name ( Click OK.

Back in the Dazzle window, on the left, click Chose a Store then select Citrix from the list.

Click All Applications from the navigation bar on the left side of the window. Click any Citrix -based application that you have access to then click Add. Add any other applications from the list that you need. Close Dazzle.

When you want to run these Citrix-based applications, with the Finder as the active applications, from the menu bar select Go, then Applications then Dazzle, then the application.

The first time you run one of the applications (such as Advance), you will receive a prompt stating "Advance wants to use your confidential information stored in "Citirx XenApp" in your keychain. Click Always Allow then accept the license agreement.
