The networked Desktop Backup Program provides for the backup of data, documents, and files on desktop and laptop computers across the Ethernet network. It is not intended as an archive, but provides backup in case of lost data during a limited period of time.
Symantec's NetBackup Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO) is being used for Windows clients; NetBackup Enterprise is being used for Macintosh clients.
