From its earliest experiments in educational networking 40 years ago up to
the present day, Dartmouth has sought to make computing and information
technology accessible to everyone on the campus.
That tradition continues with the installation of a campus-wide wireless
(802.11a/b/g) network. Completed in the spring of 2001, wireless connectivity
is reshaping the way faculty, students, and staff use technology in the
academic enterprise.
