Voice Mail

General Features

Voice mail may be accessed any time from a touch-tone phone. Each mailbox will accommodate a 30-second greeting message and 20 three-minute messages. Saved messages are erased after 30 days. A rapid beeping tone replaces the dial tone when there is a message. (Calls can still be initiated while receiving the broken dial tone.)

Getting Started

Voice mail is available free of charge to all students upon request. You can also request a menu for you and your roommate(s) to enable individual voice mailboxes. Please send your request via e-mail to help help@dartmouth.edu.

Room Changes

Please inform Network Services of any room changes so the voice mailbox may be activated on the extension in the new room and removed from the previous phone line. You may request room changes or cancellation of voice mail at any time by e-mailing help help@dartmouth.edu.
