Corporate Calling Cards

Global calling cards are available to any member of the staff and faculty with departmental approval. Simply submit a request via e-mail to Network Services and include the following information:

  • Name of card holder.
  • Department name.
  • Account number.
  • Hinman Box address.

Calling detail can be viewed on the Web.

How to Place Calls

Domestic Calls (Including Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)

  1. Dial 1-800-578-2927. Listen for the prompt.
  2. Dial 0 + area code + phone number. Listen for the prompt.
  3. Dial the 14-digit number on the front of the card.

Multiple Calls

To redial or make another long distance call, don't hang up!

  1. Press the # button for one full second. Listen for the prompt.
  2. Dial the 14-digit number on the front of the card.

International Calls

  1. Dial 1-800-578-2927. Listen for the prompt.
  2. Dial 01 + country code + city zone + number. Listen for the prompt.
  3. Dial the 14-digit number on the front of the card.
  4. Click here for International Rates.
  5. Click here for International Access Codes.

Calling Card Security Tips

  • Always exercise care in public locations. Do not let others see you punch in your card number at a public phone.
  • Call Network Services (646-2300) to report a lost or stolen calling card.
  • Never reveal your card Pin Number to anyone, even someone claiming to be a telephone company representative.
