Network Device Request Forms

These forms should be used to order a new printer, to request to have a printer or server moved to a new physical location, or to request a static Internet Protocol (IP) address. These forms will be sent to the IT Service Desk (Help Desk) and you will be contacted by the appropriate computing support office to assist you configuring or moving your equipment.

If you are ordering a new or replacement printer, questions that are appropriate to consider include:

  • How many people will be using it?
  • Will you need or want duplex (2-sided) printing?
  • Will you need extra trays aside from the one that comes with the printer?
  • Will you need an envelope feeder?
  • Is black-and-white sufficient or will you need color?
  • How much space is available for the printer; is the physical size of the printer an issue?
  • What is a reasonable price range based on your budget?

If you have questions, please contact the IT Service Desk at 646-2999 and select from the options provided, send electronic mail to help@dartmouth.edu, or call your department's IT support office.
