Equipment services beyond those already available in the equipped classroom can be requested by calling 646-2302 or e-mailing classroom.scheduling@dartmouth.edu.
Please call the AV Emergency phone number, 646-1155, to report any problems you are having with the audiovisual equipment. The next available Classroom Technology Services (CTS) technician will respond to your call. The number is posted in all equipped classrooms, along with directions to the nearest available telephone. The same phone number can be used to report non-critical failures of the audiovisual system or maintenance needs. Please do not call this number to schedule services; we need to keep the phone line available for trouble reports.
When the AV system fails and cannot be repaired in time for your class, you should have a back-up plan (e.g., transparencies to use in place of your PowerPoint slides, an alternate class exercise, or you can postpone the class to an X-period).
New operating instructions or "workarounds" that may be in place pending the completion of a classroom AV system repair will be posted on the "Computing - Classroom Technology Services" BlitzMail Bulletin topic. Instructions will also be posted in the classroom.
