Equipment Standards in Classrooms

A variety of audiovisual equipment is available for use by the faculty in SMART classrooms. The equipment is listed in tables by location and audiovisual standard; see Equipped Classroom Facilities.

Room-specific exceptions (additions, deletions, and additional comments) are also listed in these tables. Additional equipment can be requested to supplement the dedicated equipment in these self-service locations.

An initial introduction and training is advised for all SMART classrooms. Self-service equipment cabinets, lecterns, and projection booths are opened and accessible to faculty each term between 8:30 a.m. and the last scheduled class of the day. Services for the reading period, exams, term breaks, evenings, and weekends should be scheduled with Classroom Technology Services by calling 646-2302 or sending e-mail to classroom.scheduling@dartmouth.edu.
