UPDATE: Dell Battery Recall

Dell has identified a potential issue associated with certain batteries sold with Dell Latitude, Inspiron, XPS and Dell Precision Mobile Workstation notebook computers. For more information, see Dell Battery Recall.

Dell has sent the College new batteries to replace the recalled batteries in the Dell Latitude D series (D410, D420, D500, D510, D520, D600, D610, D620, D800, D810, and D810). To find out if your battery needs replacing, please bring it to Computer Sales and Service in 171 Carson Hall. If your battery has been recalled, they will give you a new one at that time. It's as simple as that; no paperwork to fill out.
