Public Facilities

In many locations around campus there are facilities where you can get computing help, purchase hardware or software, use public computers or printers, work on curricular or academic projects where there is someone to assist you, teach in a classroom that is equipped with computer and/or audiovisual equipment, or conduct a teleconference. Following are links to these public facilities:

Software

Dartmouth provides software for most general computing purposes for members of the Dartmouth community, as well as for academic coursework, from the Software Download web pages.

Faculty may want to contact the Curricular Computing and Research Computing groups for more information on software and technologies to help you facilitate your teaching and research.

For commercial software programs you may need, you can purchase many of these programs at academically discounted prices from Computer Sales and Service in 171 Carson Hall.
