Computers come with a four-year warranty, so most repairs are covered.
Laptops are also covered by the complete care warranty during the four
years.
Repairs not covered by the warranty that are the result of normal operation
are covered by the Standards Program.
Repairs not covered by the warranty and that are the result of inappropriate
care by the department are the responsibility of the department. This includes
software errors, such as having a virus compromise a machine that may require
re-imaging the computer.
