Scanners for use by any member of the Dartmouth community are available in
several locations; see
Public Scanner Locations. Some are attached to Windows computers; others
are attached to Macintosh computers. Instructions on how to use these scanners
can be found on the desktops of the computers to which they are connected.
Software for both color graphical scanning and for scanning text into a
Microsoft Word document (Optical Character Recognition) is available at most of
these locations. Commercial and profit-making projects are prohibited.
